Healthy Kids Running Series - Sundays, April 8, 15, 22, 29, and May 6 - 5:00-6:00 pm

The Healthy Kids Running Series is a five week running program in the spring and fall for kids from Pre-K to 8th grade. Each Race Series takes place once a week and offers age appropriate running events including the 50 yard dash, the 75 yard dash, the 1/4 mile, the 1/2 mile and the one mile run. Kids compete each week of the Series for a chance to earn points and at the end of the Series the top boy and girl with the most points in their respective age division receive a trophy. It doesn’t matter how fast or slow you run because all participants receive a medal and gift bag for their achievements courtesy of our sponsors. Join us as we encourage kids to adopt a healthy and active lifestyle, help increase their self-esteem, and make new friends!

*Please arrive 45 minutes early if you have not pre-registered or if you have not picked up your race bag at Race bag Pick-up Night. On-site registrations are welcome each week, checks are preferred. Wear your sneakers! Thank you! (Please note: Registration is non-refundable)

Race Location: Races for the spring will be held on the Leesville Middle School track, due to the anticipated outdoor asphalt track work to begin soon for Leesville Elementary School.

2017 Building A Stronger Pride Giving Campaign

We were able to raise approximately $49,100, just shy of our $50,000 goal for the Giving Campaign! Thank you to all the families, faculty and staff, and community partners that generously gave this year. We appreciate your support!

We will be able to support so many PTA programs with these funds, as well as begin work on the outdoor space very soon - including a new track, new equipment, and other enhancements to the playground and outdoor learning space. The design plan is here. NOTE: Final actual design may differ slightly based on WCPSS, county, and state regulations.

We ALWAYS welcome business sponsors, any time throughout the year. If you own or manage a local business, see our Corporate Sponsorship Program.

For any questions, please contact Rebecca Shreve at fundraising@lespta.com.

Thanks for supporting the LES PTA and our school community!
